As a trauma-informed practitioner with a background in Marriage and Family Therapy, I’m passionate about helping individuals and couples heal from trauma and build meaningful, connected relationships. Drawing on my training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodrama, and somatic awareness, I offer a warm, experiential, and client-centered space where healing and growth can truly unfold.
In my intake sessions, I begin by asking clients, "How can I help you?" Many respond by turning the question back to me, saying, "You're the expert. What do you think I need?" My approach diverges here—I don't view myself as the expert on anyone's life except my own. I believe each person possesses inherent wisdom and insight into their psyche, needs, and barriers. When clients feel stuck, it's often because they've lost touch with their intuitive knowing.
As a therapist and coach, I view my role as a guide, helping you find your way back to your inner truth and navigate your unique inner terrain. When we encounter obstacles, we approach them with curiosity. I don't possess the power to remove these obstacles; they serve a purpose, often protecting or trying to help in some way. Clients often seek to eliminate parts of themselves that keep them stuck, but I help them understand the part's message. We can't discard parts of ourselves; instead, we develop a new relationship with them to ease their burden and offer them more choice.
Only you can truly understand what these parts need to feel safe, based on your life experiences. I can guide and support you in listening attentively to these parts, leading you towards alignment and inner safety. Exploring one's inner world with a therapist is akin to having a knowledgeable guide in unfamiliar terrain. I can illuminate dark corners, but I can't predict your system's internal responses. My commitment is to accompany you faithfully until you feel empowered to navigate independently.

Facilitating groups is one of my passions and I bring my training in IFS, psychodrama, and somatic awareness to my groups. I prefer working in small group settings, and I often partner with another facilitator, making sure that each group member receives the attention they need to maximize their growth and healing within the group context.
As humans, we are wired to seek connection and community. Sadly, for many of us, being part of a community and having that sense of belonging came at the cost of having to sacrifice one's individual identity. My groups are designed to allow for each participant’s individual self expression in an environment that is accepting and safe, so that they have permission to discover and bring forth all the parts of themselves that have been exiled due to societal pressures, other's expectations, shaming, abuse or neglect.
Groups run in cohorts of several weeks and close for registration once they start in order to provide a safe and confidential container for participants.
My approach with couples is based on my training in IFIO (Intimacy From the Inside Out) which adapts the IFS model to relational contexts. My belief is that couples can learn to communicate in ways that will meet their relational needs when they are aware of the parts that take over their communications with their partner when they are in a triggered state and speak for these parts instead of allowing these parts to run the show. By bringing awareness to your relationship’s patterns and how your parts engage with each other, you can have more choice in how you relate, creating more harmony and trust in your coupleship.
I facilitate 6-8 hour intensives for individuals, couples, and small groups. They are designed for those who are already participating in consistent therapy or coaching but feel stuck in a certain area or pattern in their life.
Intensives are a great space to deep-dive into an exploration where you can gain clarity and a path forward. Whereas in weekly therapy sessions your process is limited by time constraints and might be interrupted just as you're gaining momentum, in an intensive you have the opportunity to focus on yourself without any distractions or interruptions, allowing your process to flow and flourish.
If you would like to schedule an intensive and we haven't worked together before, an initial intake session would be required. Intensives include a prep session where we will set intentions for your experience and an integration session following the intensive.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a powerful and compassionate model for integrating psychedelic experiences or processing insights gained in altered states of consciousness. In Western culture, clients often feel pressure to quickly return to societal norms, leaving them isolated in their efforts to integrate these profound experiences. They may lack a supportive community to witness and honor their transformation.
I offer clients, whether in group or individual settings, a space to explore the meaning of your experience and support your awakening while taking into account your unique background, environment, and external constraints. Together, we work to find a balance that respects your journey, relationships, and personal goals.
